    Kem Tolliver, BS, CMPE, CPC, CMOM

    President

    Kem Tolliver holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Healthcare Administration and Organizational Management; Summa Cum Laude and Magna Cum Laude respectively. Certifications include: Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE), Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Medical Office Manager (CMOM). For 20 years she has provided strategic and operational leadership to hospitals and independent practices.

    Mrs. Tolliver utilizes a team approach to: Practice Management and RCM Improvements, Coding, Training and Education, and HIPAA Compliance. Medical practices managed by Kem have received MGMA® “Better Performing Practice” distinctions in the areas of Accounts Receivable and Collections. MRCS leads practice transformation efforts that include optimizing technology and leveraging innovative revenue cycle strategies.

    In a desire to lead, Kem served on the Board of Directors of MD MGMA as the Chair of the Practice Management Committee and Chair of the Government Affairs Committee. Kem is a member of MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society’s Legislative Council and provides testimony on healthcare legislation in the Maryland General Assembly.

    Kem serves on the Board of Directors for Laurel Regional Hospital. She was nominated by Nexus Health, Fort Washington Medical Center for the 2016 Community Health Award. She received MD MGMA’s 2016 Outstanding Service Award. The State of Maryland awarded Kem with the Governor’s Volunteer Service Certificate for 2015 and 2016.

Monitors and manages clinical processes and maintains an exceptional level of customer service to internal stakeholders, external customers and relationship partners. Identifies strategy for growth and executes plans to achieve growth goals. Manages work flow to insure compliance, efficiency and satisfaction. Serves as the primary liaison for business activities. Recognized as a confident speaker and trainer in both small and large group settings.

    Senior Training & Compliance Advisor

    Over twenty years of proven healthcare compliance, training, and business leadership/management expertise. Skills include delivering on-time, on-budget results while surpassing performance objectives and instilling a team and customer-centric culture of collaboration, accountability, quality, and efficiency. Seasoned professional with proven leadership skills in operations and compliance training as well as instilling a sense of urgency amongst diverse staff and associates. Uses knowledge of mission, vision, strategy, and stakeholder knowledge as a basis to develop specific value-added programs to reduce risk and achieve results. Cary is a former US Navy Commander and veteran. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
